Social Audit and Communication Strategy
Zofingen Hospital is a regional hospital. Competition in the Swiss health system is increasing and smaller hospitals are being closed in an attempt to control rising health care costs.
The management of Zofingen Hospital decided on a pro-active strategy. By documenting and communicating their social performance better, and emphasising the importance of the institution for the regional population and its economy, Hospital Zofingen aims to improve its position within health care consultations.
For Zofingen Hospital BSD developed services including:
- conducting a Social Audit against SSW criteria;
- elaborating a SWOT on Social Performance;
- producing the Social Report 2005 alignment of the communication strategy;
- organising a structured stakeholder dialogue and
- applying the Relata Stakeholder tool.
