Yves Schätzle is Business Development Manager of BSD Switzerland
Yves Schätzle has Master’s degrees in Agronomy from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen, and wrote a thesis on Cooperative Leadership.He worked in Brazil for Ciba-Geigy Ltd. (currently Syngenta) first as a Product Manager for special markets, then as Project Manager in charge of an international product enhancement project.
Yves applied his marketing and agronomy knowledge as a marketing allrounder and member of the management committee at the Swiss organic farmers‘ association in Basel. He then developed an interest in issues around social collaboration and is now Head of the Social Institution for the Homeless in Basel.
He brings his economic, ecological and social experience to BSD.
