Hans Peter Waltisberg is the Chief Operational Officer of BSD Group and Communication Manager of BSD Switzerland.
He was responsible for the establishment of the BSD Group, implementing organisational and communication structures.
Hans Peter worked as a journalist for Swiss newspapers covering economic, cultural and foreign affairs issues. He has written several articles on Fairtrade for trade magazines. In 2004 he translated a history book on Swiss emigration to Brazil in the 19th century and its economic causes.
For seven years he worked for BSD Brazil where he specialised in communication, Fairtrade producer support and supply chain management. He was involved in several projects promoting sustainable tourism in remote regions of Brazil.
