Francisco Neves
Managing Director
Francisco graduated in Environmental Engineering at the New University of Lisbon (UNL) and has a postgraduate degree in Marketing – Integrated Communications. He has also done training in “Quality, Environment and Safety Management Systems Auditing – ISO 19011” and “Corporate Responsibility”. He’s a Certified Sustainability Assurance Practitioner.
Before joining BSD he has worked in a leading sustainability consultancy company, gaining a large experience on sustainability communication and stakeholder engagement. He was also responsible for the first edition of Accountability Rating Portugal, in 2008, and gave training in sustainability communication, according to GRI Guidelines.
Previously he has worked in the Department for Strategic and Environmental Management of the Municipality of Almada, where he managed several projects co-financed by the European Commission (LIFE Environment and others). He also managed the Communication and Institutional Marketing Unit for a waste management company in the metropolitan area of Lisbon.
