Marcela Romero is Project Director of BSD Colombia.
Before joining BSD, she worked as Sustainable Development Manager for Carrefour Colombia, where she was in charge of the planning, implementation, and assessment of the retailer’s sustainability strategy in the country. In addition, she served as lecturer and researcher in local development for the Externado University, Bogota. She collaborated in the design of the Master Degree in Corporate Social Responsibility of this University. She has experience in the development of public-private partnerships. She was consultant for the UNDP collaborating in the creation of a toolbox in local development management.
She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Government and International Affairs from the Externado University, Bogota, and a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning and City Management from the Institut d’Urbanism de Paris.
